You are never safe on Sea Street. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of note:<br \/>\n**We discussed<strong> Roxana Robinson\u2019s<\/strong> novel set in Maine, <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0374271879?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=therosbooblo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0374271879\">Cost: A Novel<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=therosbooblo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0374271879\" style=\"border: medium none  ! important; margin: 0px ! important\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><\/strong><\/em>, and created a new genre: dysfunctional family chick lit.<br \/>\n**We agreed <strong>Lee Child&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0440241014?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=therosbooblo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0440241014\">The Enemy (Jack Reacher Novels)<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=therosbooblo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0440241014\" style=\"border: medium none  ! important; margin: 0px ! important\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><\/em><\/strong> is our favorite Jack Reacher novel.<br \/>\n**The differing merits of <strong>Michael Connelly\u2019s<\/strong> Harry Bosch (e.g. <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0446619078?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=therosbooblo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0446619078\">The Last Coyote (Harry Bosch)<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=therosbooblo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0446619078\" style=\"border: medium none  ! important; margin: 0px ! important\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><\/strong><\/em>) and Reacher make comparisons difficult.  Thinking fast of other edgy detectives who chafe at working \u201cinside the box,\u201d I was shouting \u201cHow about <strong>Ian Rankin\u2019s<\/strong> Rebus (e.g. <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0316608491?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=therosbooblo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0316608491\">Resurrection Men: An Inspector Rebus Novel (Inspector Rebus Novels)<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=therosbooblo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0316608491\" style=\"border: medium none  ! important; margin: 0px ! important\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><\/strong><\/em>), or <strong>C.J. But the walkers-by were few. Last week may have been the peak week.  The breeze is strong enough to make reading <strong>Ryszard Kapuscinski\u2019s <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1400078784?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=therosbooblo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=1400078784\">Travels with Herodotus (Vintage International)<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=therosbooblo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=1400078784\" style=\"border: medium none  ! important; margin: 0px ! important\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><\/em><\/strong>, a trade paperback, a one-handed fight with flopping pages.  And <strong>Daniel Silva\u2019s <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0451224507?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=therosbooblo-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0451224507\">The Secret Servant (Gabriel Allon)<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=therosbooblo-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=0451224507\" style=\"border: medium none  ! important; margin: 0px ! important\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><\/em><\/strong> is a page-turner which makes looking up to watch the tide and the incoming sailboats a problem.  So now I\u2019m inside.<\/p>\n<p>The high-bush blueberries may be the downfall of the cheeky chipmunk.  He was ignoring available blue  blueberries and sitting on the big rock he uses to crack the rose hips which apparently aren&#8217;t quite to his taste yet.  A breakthrough, for sure.
